Conversation between Manfred Pernice and Willem OorebeekManfred Pernice (DE, 1963) and Willem Oorebeek (NL, 1953) are two artists exhibiting in Sculpture Garden 2022. They are also friends. Together they like to talk about art and have a beer on a park bench.

Film screening of BAJKA / TALL TALE by Lucia Nimcova in the presence of the artist
BAJKA / A TALL TALE (2016, 32:10) follows on from Lucia Nimcova’s (SVK, 1977) previous work on both the female experience in Eastern Europe and contested histories of her native Rusyn minority. This work similarly seeks to show how the past influences the present. In the end, it is an attempt to navigate the polyphony of subjectivities in the context of Ukraine’s unstable situation, ¬currently and historically.
All events are free and the meeting point in the Parc des Eaux-Vives is the pavillon where Willem Oorebeek’s installation is presented: https://bit.ly/3zfPTzp
